Mr. Jakrapob Penkair
Former Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Prime Minister, Thailand

Jakrapob Penkair (born October 21, 1967, Bangkok) is a Thai media professional, diplomat, and government official who has held various senior roles in public communication and administration.

He served as Government Spokesperson under Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra from 2003 to 2005 and was later appointed as Minister to the Office of the Prime Minister in 2008 under Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.

In his advisory capacity, Mr. Jakrapob worked closely with the Secretary-General of the Prime Minister, providing counsel on policy matters, communications strategy, and executive management.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Chulalongkorn University and went on to complete his master’s and doctoral degrees at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), USA.
